Milan Matyáš Deutsch has been dedicated to art in various forms for over 30 years.
In 2004, he organized a charity photo exhibition Malaysia, Beautifully Colorful Asia (Jindřišská věž, Prague), the proceeds of which went to the Prague Zoo to breed endangered turtles. In 2005, he followed up with a similar exhibition called Miss Venezuela (Kotva, Prague). In 2011, he took a series of photos in support of Japan affected by the Tsunami, called Katka for Japan . This exhibition was sponsored by Vice Miss Kateřina Pospíšilová, and contained portraits of famous personalities who were not indifferent to the fate of Japan. He published a retrospective book of photos My subjective view through a lens in 2013 and supported UNICEF activities in African countries with its sales. He also took portraits of hockey player Patrik Eliáš, which he also exhibited in the Jindřišská věž. Milan’s photographs were published by the magazines Instinkt, Lidé a země, Koktejl, and Lidové noviny.
He has been dedicated to acting and his own theater and film career for over 15 years. He performs with the theater group under the pedagogical and directing direction of Erika Merjavé at the Vršovice Theater MANA , where he performed in the theater plays The Imaginarium of H. Ch. Andresen, Alfred and Josefina, Immortal 2095, The Party, Matilda and her Dreams. He wrote his own script for the political satire Červený Kukiš , which the Vršovice Theater MANA successfully presented in 2017 in a series of sold-out performances. In 2018, he wrote the original script and script for the original musical for the SEMAFOR theater under the title Alice, Alenka and the Living Water. He has also played a number of film roles – for example, the main role in the film „DRIVE“ by Vera Ipser and Simon Coats or in the film „The Beautiful Big Tree“ by American director James Hill and Obed Wilson’s „Thin Line“ . Milan also played the lead roles in the parody of the Bond classic „Agent 00 – Mission Palermo“ and in the film by the author duo David Stejskal – Ján Deák “ Amor Labori „.
Since 2006, Milan has been supporting Czech artists in the fields of painting, graphics, photography, music and poetry, for which he founded a charity organization called E-MOC-E . This project has already helped four hundred artists to have 40 exhibitions and concerts in a number of galleries and music clubs. Among the jurors and supporters of the project were many well-known figures of Czech culture (eg Lukáš Hejlík, Chantal Pouillain, Ester Kočičková, Kateřina Pospíšilová, Elena Sonenshine, Marta Marinová and others).
Eight years ago, Milan founded the music group Xarisma and released the music CD Some of my favorites on his solo singing career. He sang two duets with American singer Janelle Newman in 2006. In 2018, he sang a duet with Martina Balogová „I won’t dance without you“. Milan is currently working as a lyricist and producer with Czech-Canadian songwriter and singer David Vostrý, songwriter and vocalist, on new songs for Martina Balogová. In tandem with David Vostrý, he also provided lyrics for songs on the new CD of the group Lollypopz. In 2020, he is releasing his 3rd original music album entitled „Česky“ .
